Paige and I are heading south with Reed and Jessica to cheer on the Maize and Blue. Reed and Jessica are, of course, Trojan alums so they will be rooting for the big guy with the sword and the horse and the incessant two-finger chopping. We're making them sit in the UM student section, which should prove to be one of the few corners of the Rose Bowl with a maize majority.
Go Blue. When (if?) Ohio State blows Florida out by 40 points, the winner of this game will be the reluctant bridesmaid. Sigh.

Ohio State's victory next Monday will be the final insult to Nate's disaster of a college football bowl season.
As for national champion bridesmaid, I suggest looking past the winner of the Rose Bowl to a little team called Boise State. That was an amazing game.
